Mandela Day 2019 – CAFDA School of Skills gains a multi-purpose field

For the past several years, Juice Film has been involved in doing something in honour of Tata Madiba for Mandela Day.
It is usually centred around football – as anyone who knows Carmen well, knows she is football crazy!
This year we are doing something slightly different and together with several industry colleagues, friends and suppliers we have constructed a multi-purpose field for The CAFDA School of Skills in Retreat.

Juice film’s two head honchos – executive producers Martin Jacobson and Carmen Amos have left the shores of Cape Town on their annual international marketing trip. The duo are making appearances in London / Paris / Hamburg / Berlin & LA! If they’re visiting your city why not drop them a call, they would love to meet up for drink and a chat!
Every year for the month of December we have a Christmas box on each of our sets. We ask crew / clients / cast to bring in non-perishables or cash so we can donate to good cause. For the 3rd year running we have donated to St Monica’s which is for elderly folk. They are so grateful for the simplest of pleasures many of us take for granted.

The sweeties and chips will be distributed to the poor children in our village, Die Onderdorp Riebeek Valley has so much poverty, the daily battles to just “survive” leaves little chance of these children receiving sweet treats. Thank you on behalf of them.
